Working exclusively with film and art schools, universities, and other audiovisual educational institutions, New Talent showcases the works of talented people whose artistic choices are highly-personal, original, and ambitious. Submitted works must have been produced during their studies or early in their careers.
The selection, which echoes trends and different approaches from all around the world, not only showcases a wide variety of films that reflect true freedom of expression, but also acts as a space for meeting people and for schools and young cinematographers to share ideas and experiences.
For 2016, through a selection of 33 films, Fipa Campus shines a spotlight on Lebanon, Spain, Israel, and France as well as new discoveries from the Pépinières européennes pour jeunes artistes.
It combines a range of films, world perspectives, and approaches that reveal the concerns and priorities of the younger generation.
Two special prizes are offered by France télévisions and Erasmus + Agency during the closing ceremony.
This year, Fipa Campus is putting in honor 7 schools from all over the word and the new discoveries of Les pépinières européennes pour jeunes artistes :
Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV (Cuba)
Faculty of Dramatic Arts (Serbia)
London Film School (United Kingdom)
Minshar School of Art (Israel)
